ABOUT US

Introduction

In 2050 BS (1994 AD), a devastating flood swept through the Bagmati Basin in Sarlahi District, displacing thousands and destroying homes, farmland, and livelihoods. In response, a group of volunteers came together to support rescue and relief efforts. Moved by the scale of suffering, they founded Bagmati Welfare Society Nepal in 2051 BS (1995 AD) - driven by the belief that everyone deserves a safe and healthy life. Since then, the organisation has been dedicated to humanitarian and development work across the region.
